Hi everyone!
I'm stoked to welcome you to The Seasoned Smoker. Barbecue is more than just a cooking method; it's a passion, a science, and a tradition. I can't wait to dive in with you.
Before I was seasoned I had eaten barbecue, but nothing that was life changing. That changed when I stopped at a food trailer in the middle of a gravel parking lot. I ordered a sandwich, took a bite, and I asked them to hire me. I knew nothing about barbecue, so I started washing dishes. Over the years, I worked my way up to management and became the head pit-master. My journey didn't stop there—I managed several corporate barbecue restaurants and organized caterings for thousands of people. Eventually, I launched my own catering company and used barbecue competitions to draw the attention of both the barbecue community and the public. Through those experiences, I've gained a wealth of knowledge and a deep love for barbecue that I'm eager to share.
